Papaya Garlic Shrimp

4 servings


2 lbs Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 Tbs Butter
2 Cloves of garlic, chopped
1/2 onion, ringed
1/2 Papaya, 1/2 inch chunks
1 tsp of Dried thyme leaves
Rice or Thai noodles


1. In a saucepan melt the butter. Saute' 2 cloves of garlic and onion.

2. Once the garlic has browned and the onion has become clear, add the papaya and a tsp of dried thyme leaves.

3. Stir until papaya just starts to go mushy.

4. Dump all of this into a bowl and then saute your Shrimp in the same saucepan for a couple of minutes.

5. Finally, cook all ingredients together for another 5 min on low heat.

6. Serve over rice or with thai noodles.
