Stir Fried Shrimp with Green Onions

6 servings


1.5 lbs Large or Jumbo Shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 Tbs Rice wine or dry sherry
1 Tbs Cornstarch
2 Tbs Salad Oil
4 Green Onions, sliced thin
Soy Sauce to taste


1. In a small bowl, mix the Shrimp with the wine and cornstarch.

2. Heat the oil in a wok or wide frying pan over high heat.

3. Add the Shrimp mixture and cook, stirring, until the Shrimp turn bright pink (2 to 3 minutes).

4. Add the onions and continue to cook, stirring, until the Shrimp are just opaque in the center (about 2 more minutes).

5. Add soy sauce and serve.
