Shrimp Scampi 2

2 servings


1 lb Large or Jumbo Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Sherry
1 Clove of garlic or like amount of liquid garlic
2 Tbs Lemon juice
1 tsp Sugar


1. In a shallow pan over low heat, melt 1/2 cup butter.

2. Mix in all ingredients well and pour in the pan.

3. Arrange the Shrimp in a single layer in the sauce.

4. Spoon sauce over shrimp.

5. Broil at low heat for 8 minutes.

6. Remove from broiler and let stand 15 minutes.

7. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of minced parsley over the Shrimp.

8. Broil on high heat for 3 minutes and remove from oven.

9. Spoon the Shrimp and sauce over hot cooked rice and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
